The Prata Journey of Life
Life is often like the journey of making prata.
It begins as a simple piece of dough - soft, plain, and ordinary.
Nothing impressive at first glance. But then the stretching begins.
The pulling, pressing, folding, and sometimes the heat of the fire. It can feel messy and uncomfortable.
Seasons of life may stretch us through challenges, flip our plans upside down, and place us in situations we never expected. Yet in the hands of the Master, every stretch has a purpose.
Just like the prata becomes something fragrant and beautiful on the hot pan, our lives are being shaped by God. The very seasons that feel difficult are often the moments HE uses to refine us, strengthen us, and reveal His grace.
When we surrender our lives to the Master’s hands, even the stretching becomes part of something beautiful. “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28)
Lord,
Thank You that my life is in Your hands. Even when I go through seasons of stretching, flipping, and refining, help me trust that You are shaping me for Your purpose. Give me the grace to surrender every part of my journey to You. May my life become a testimony of Your goodness, Your restoration, and Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
