1 Corinthians 10:12 NKJV
Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.
🟣 This Scripture is teaching us to ( ) take heed or ( ) do anything we deem right in our eyes.
🟣 Do you think it is good to learn from others' mistakes or listen to good advice?
( ) Yes ( ) No.
🤔 Ultimately, we still must consult God because every person's situation differs from one another.
🟣 If others have failed or fallen, do you think we may likely face the same problem?
Remember, Scripture says, "Do not think one always stands forever." This reminds us to be careful.
🟣 Dependence on God means
Praying and seeking God's guidance will help us stay on guard and stay vigilant.
Depending on God will keep us from temptation, falling, or going in the wrong direction.
🟣 Meditate on the Scripture below:
1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
The Scripture tells us that in this world, we will have temptation.
If there are temptations, we must rely on God even more. We are to take heed, lest we fall.
Prayer
Father, thank You for teaching us to take heed lest we fall. Help us to put our trust and confidence in You in all things. Whenever we attempt to trust ourselves instead of You, remind us to go to You for guidance. We praise You in times of great blessings as well as times of great challenge. Thank you, Father. In Jesus' name, amen.
Prayer for healing:
Dear Lord Jesus, You are a compassionate God. We pray that You will stretch forth Your hands to heal those who need specific healing, and hear their prayer upon their utterance of an AMEN. Thank you, Jesus! In Jesus' name, amen.
